Ecosheek bags are made from Natural Cotton or Organic Cotton and Jute. These are all natural materials and the necessary fabric is sourced from a variety of local mills depending on who is producing what grade of fabric at a particular time. This does mean that the exact texture and appearance of the fabric may vary between one consignment and another, this in no way affects the function of the bag and is a result of different mills having different weaving processes.
Please note that although our bags are machine washable, there will be some shrinkage due to the raw, unprocessed nature of the fabric we use, we recommend washing at a low temperature, eg 30ºC. The print dyes we use are water based, and as a result there may be some natural fading over time, or if the bag is washed.
While every effort is made to match the colours specified in your Product Code Profile sheet, the fabric that we are dyeing or printing onto is not actually white and the way that the dyes interact with the natural raw material cannot be precisely anticipated. Some degree of trial and error will provide a close visual match but it must be appreciated that the colour match will never be as precise as if you were printing on white paper.
Our manufacturing partners have well paid, well treated staff but they are doing a repetitive job and some deviation will occur in the construction of our bags, we could say that that is what gives them their charm but in practice we believe you will never actually notice these variations.
On the physical bag dimensions, the typical variation would be less than +/- 5%
And in terms of printing, anything that has a clear visual mismatch or defect will be rejected
The Product Code Profile sheet is a document that we produce which defines what materials your bag will be made from and what it will look like. This is then signed off by you as an attachment to your purchase order when ordering “Bespoke Bags”. The PCP then forms part of our manufacturing spec and will ultimately be used for quality control before your bags are shipped. The PCP sheet is unnecessary for online "Custom Printed Bags" because the order process and your uploaded artwork defines the bag you will receive.
Art work uploaded or emailed to us should be colour separated jpeg format files and sized to 100% (typically no greater than 30cm x 30cm) at a resolution of 300 pixels per inch, (ie. there should be one file for each colour print you require, these can then be overlaid). Please ensure that you include your transaction number in your file names before they are sent to us. Your required colours must be specified by uncoated Pantone colour code, please contact us if you do not have access to Pantone definitions.
For best results, art work should be simple bold colours with well defined edges.
Total screen print ink area is assumed to be no more than 25% of the bags’ surface area. Designs with a print area greater than this may be liable to an additional charge.
Whilst we are able to make adjustments to optimise your design to the bag in question we do reserve the right to reject artwork that does not meet these standards.
If you need a new logo or would like some new artwork developed, we can undertake text based jobs inhouse, or for more complex logos, we can recommend our graphic design associate. Contact us for more information
